“If there was ever wine leftover, and that’s a big IF, my mom would make a reduction with it and we would enjoy it on pancakes the next morning. Sometimes it was with mulling spices, sometimes with fresh citrus, always delicious! And the smell when you woke up! Even better than the smell of coffee.”
Growing up in Napa, going to school in Sonoma, and now living here in Calaveras County, she’s never been far from the food and wine scene. She’s worked in many wineries, with many chefs and even in the vineyard management side of the business.
